The gunman who killed two people and injured 12 others in a rampage on the Danforth late Sunday night was shooting at random, like someone “in a video game,” a witness says.“He was very relaxed, it was pretty disturbing,” said Lenny Graf, who was with his wife and his son, 9, and daughter, 8.Shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday, the 29-year-old gunman was walking along Danforth Ave. and fired shots at groups of people as they were enjoying a night out.Police found the shooter on Bowden St., between Logan and Broadview Aves., and an exchange of gunfire took place, the Special Investigations Unit said.The gunman fled the area and was found dead on Danforth Ave. It’s not immediately clear if the man died from self-inflicted gunshots or from gunfire with police. Late Sunday night, police reported that a woman died and a 9-year-old girl was critically injured in the shooting and transported to Sick Kids hospital.In an update Monday morning, the Special Investigations Unit said a second victim died in the mass shooting. The gunman has not been identified, nor have any of the victims.Twelve others were hurt in the shootings near Danforth and Logan Aves. in Greektown, the police watchdog confirmed.
